More Twins!

Another set of twins! I have had the pleasure of visiting this family twice ... once when the little ones were just two weeks old and then I just went again today to get photos of them with their grandparents who arrived from New Zealand. With kiwi in their background, you know we had to use the lamb's wool blanket in a few shots!

8 months pregnant and still biking!

This post is of a super good friend ... I am so lucky to have met Bettina. About a year and a half ago, we were at the big park near our house and Hailey started playing with the cutest little blonde boy. Gosh, he was such a cutie. We started talking to their parents and found out they had just moved from Denmark to Calgary only a couple days prior. And they live right around the corner from us! This meeting in the big park, thanks to Hailey choosing her buddies so wisely, has led to a wonderful friendship!

As soon as we had Reuben, they announced they were pregnant with a little brother or sister for their son. We can't wait to meet him and her soon -- hopefully this week!

I was having fun with some textures and just love how this turned out... doesn't she look super?

And I had to post one of Bettina 8 months pregnant and on her bike! Just so ... so Danish!!!!

Nyah (9 days)

Part of the fun of shooting at homes of clients is incorporating their style and decor into the images. We used baskets from Africa, Mom's beautiful scarf and the living room's piano. Thank you K&C -- can't wait to show you all the others.

Family of Four

It took us a couple tries to nail down this shoot, but it was well worth the wait. The sun was so, so bright this day with no cloud cover at all, but we managed to find the right balance of sun and shade. to come up with some very fun images!

A productive week!

Well, it's been a productive week -- the Flames started their season, the election is over and I had two free days to work on galleries! The result: a 1-1-1 record for the Flames, the same minority government (less 300 million dollars that the election cost) and some more photos to show you!

This is a favourite family of mine... the kids are so good and we had a perfect fall evening.

And to end the evening, we tried a silhouette...

Talk about cuties...I thought little newborn Valentina was sweet...

And then I got to meet her older brother and sister!

And one more newborn to oooh and ahhh over..

A fabulous fall...

What an amazing fall we've had this year. In past years, there's usually been a rainfall or snowfall (!!!) that brings the leaves down and shortens the ideal fall photo season. This year, though, they have stayed around for a solid three weeks. Just gorgeous! And how about that weather -- wowsers!!! Last night's weather seemed to be telling us cooler winter is calling but we are all thankful for the gorgeous last few weeks and extra VitaminD we've all managed to get!!

Here are some shots from a fun fall shoot.... are all kids in Calgary just beautiful or what?

Three Gorgeous Girls

There are lots of shoots to share over the next few days, but I wanted to highlight these three beautiful little girls. We started off indoors with some studio lighting as I was very excited to try out a new background.

And I just can't get away, ever, from close up black and white images... love these!! Can't you see them on a wall together!?!

We then moved outdoors...

where a surprise awaited! Look at this gorgeous stroller!!

I had to include this one with dad...

Just being a girl ....

and of course one with everyone!!
